Manufacturing & Materials

Cylinder body: 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum monobloc, CNC machined, anti-corrosion surface treatment (anodization + marine varnish/paint).
HP valve: nickel/chrome-plated forged brass, 316L stainless steel springs, NBR/Viton seals compatible with breathable air, integrated tempered glass pressure gauge.
Pressure & volume: working pressure 200 bar; internal volume varies by model (OX500: [0.5 L] / OX500PLUS: [0.5 L] / OX1000: [1.0 L] / OX2000: [2.3 L]).
Quality controls: leak test, hydrostatic test 1.5× working pressure, traceability by batch number and test date.
Compliance & refilling: equipment complies with European and international requirements (EN/PED/DOT). To be refilled exclusively with breathable air compliant with EN 12021 via OXSEA pump/mini-compressor or transfer station from a diving tank.

Warranty

OXSEA Warranty: 24 months against any manufacturing defect on the cylinder body, valve, and pressure gauge (parts & labor).
Consumables excluded: O-rings, filters, lubricants, paints/adhesives, normal wear and tear.
Lifespan: Our cylinders are designed to last several years with regular maintenance. Periodic re-testing is not required for OXSEA cylinders, however, we recommend it (generally every 2 to 5 years).
Proper use required: Respect working pressure, rinse with fresh water after sea use, store away from impacts and heat.
Trial/Returns: 14-day right of withdrawal
